Does energy healing/therapy work in conjunction with medicine or other natural treatment? 

Yes. Energy healing is not a substitute for medical care. Energy therapy works with the energetic body and will not interfere with any medical program that is being followed by a physician.

Eastern, western or what ever form of medicine a person utilizes has its place and purpose. Each individual is responsible for their own best care and generally comes in a variety of ways.
